Maths-Volume

we have been doing measuring in maths for this project we had to estimate how many metres squared room 10 is. In my group we had Anab, Indianna and my self. this project didn't take really long it only took 10 minutes . I was the one doing the maths and Anab and indianna were measuring how many metres the length, width and depth of the room

length=9
width=8
depth=4

8x9=72
72x2=144
144x2=288

width=4
length=3
depth=4

4x3=12
12x4=48

width=3
length=3
depth=4

4x3=12
12x3=32

length=9
width=8
depth=1

8x9=72
72x1-72

   48     288+2=290   290+32= 322  322+70=392  392+8=400 400+40=440     answer 440m3

  1. What how do you do that? When you did this you didn't do it with a capital.And when you spelled Indianna you did not do it with a capital.

  2. So I see that your group estimated that Room 10 is 440m3. Did you compare your results to any other group? Was it similar or quite a lot different?
